Production Manager
Quick Apply Full-time 5 hours ago Full Job Description The primary responsibility of this position is to work in coordination with growers to assign and supervise crews in the completion of day-to-day greenhouse activities like propagating, planting, and order fulfilment.
Based upon production plan and sales/shipping needs, develop weekly and daily to do lists for production staff.
Coordinate with other leaders so all are on the same page each week for what will be happening at the facility.
Assess labor needs, schedule staff, and assign crews to specific tasks.
Directly supervise 7-10 Team Lead Supervisors focusing on their development, efficiency, and continuous operational improvement.
Monitor crew performance, set standards, and work to achieve greater efficiency.
Ensure all reports, materials and supplies are in position in anticipation of required staff work.
Help establish training, visual aids, and specifications to ensure consistency in results.
Associates degree in horticulture or related field and/or two years relevant work experience preferred.
Supervisory experience required.
